Wednesday, February 21st

9:00-9:30 am              General Session I: Morning welcome                             D124/125

  • Workshop facilitators will present the agenda for the day and themes gleaned from workshop attendees' introductory slides. 

9:30-10:30am             Assigned Breakout Session    D124/125, D113, D115, D116, D124/125, North and South Lounges            

  • Participants will gather in assigned breakout groups to discuss themes arising from the introductory slides. Groups will identify 1-3 questions and/or topics for in-depth work that subsequent groups can work on. 

10:30-11:15 am          Networking Break                                                            Great Hall

  • Guests will use the lounge for networking. Refreshments will be available.

11:15 am-12:30 pm   General Session II                                                               D124/125

  • Workshop organizers will present a staff draft of topics for in-depth work. General discussion will follow with questions and comments on the implied work goals for each topic. Participants self-select into working groups.

12:30-1:30 pm            Lunch                                                                               Dining Room

  • Sit with your working group and expand on mutual introductions and questions.

1:30-2:30 pm              Working Group Session I    D113, D115, D116, D124/125, North and South Lounges

  • Working groups will further explore their topics for in-depth work using scaffolds provided by working groups.

2:30-3:30 pm              General Session III                                                            D124/125

  • Working Groups will report topic definitions, key questions, approaches you might take, and where you might be stuck from their sessions. Workshop facilitators will provide instructions for the posters that working groups will produce and present at the end of the workshop. 

3:30-4:00 pm              Break                                                                                Great Hall

  • Guests will use the lounge for networking. Refreshments will be available.

4:00-5:30 pm              Working Group Session II               D113, D115, D116, D124/125, North and South Lounge

  • Continue exploring ideas and potential plans for action related to your topic and develop components of your group’s poster.

5:30-6:00 pm              Break                                                                      Hotel/On your own

  • Please use this time to return to hotel rooms and prepare for the evening. No refreshments will be provided.

  • Sit with your working group to deepen discussions about your topic.

  • D124/125 will be open. Poster materials will be provided for working groups to continue to develop components of their posters and develop their ideas with input from other groups.

  • The Pilot Lounge will be open for relaxing and networking with workshop attendees. Bartender on duty 8:00-9:00 pm. Last call 8:45 pm.


Thursday, February 22nd

  • Working groups plan and schedule the next steps and finish poster preparations. Groups will hang posters in the Lounge outside D124/125. Refreshments will be available in the lounge outside D124/125 starting at 10:00 am.

10:15 am-11:00 am    Poster Session with Invited Guests                          D124/D125 Lounge

  • Working groups will present their posters to invited guests and to other workshop participants.

  • Invited guests will serve on a panel to provide feedback to working groups. Panelists will report out their perspectives on the topic areas and discuss them with other invited guests:
